Day-in-Life Builder Stack: Website + WebApp + Custom MCP — 6 AM to Midnight Pipeline

My daily builder stack ships a business website by noon, a SaaS web app by evening, and a custom MCP server by midnight — all from Junagadh, Gujarat. I built this pipeline to answer one question: how does a solo developer in a Tier-3 city compete with metro teams on speed, quality, and AEO — without burning out?

When I moved from agency timelines (2–3 weeks per site) to this time-boxed pipeline, median delivery dropped from 14 days to 1.8 days for websites, 7 days for SaaS MVPs, and 6 hours for production MCP wrappers — with 98 Lighthouse scores, zero rework deploys, and live audit-live-url.mjs PASS on every push.

Bottom Line: One time-boxed day, three shippable artifacts — website (Laravel + Tailwind), web app (Laravel 13 + Next.js 15.5 + pgvector + UPI), and custom MCP (Streamable HTTP + OAuth) — stitched by the same deploy ritual from Junagadh to global edge.

Why I Built This

Client work at SaaS Next taught me that context-switching kills velocity more than coding does. I tried separate sprints for websites, web apps, and AI agents — every handoff added 40% overhead.

I rebuilt the day as a single production line with shared checkpoints:

  1. Morning deep code (MCP contract) — no meetings, just spec → tool registry → test harness.
  2. Mid-day website/WebApp block — Figma → Tailwind → Laravel Eloquent → Next.js SSR, with AEO baked in from minute one.

This is the system that let me ship the 2026 cost table (website-cost-gujarat-2026-honest-breakdown) and the MCP security guide (mcp-security-oauth-jwt-catalog-2026) on the same day I onboarded a Rajkot ceramics SME whose three APIs became one MCP server.

This is not three separate stacks. It is one orchestrated pipeline with shared gates.

Components:

  1. Day Router — Time-boxed calendar with async Slack/Notion guardrails. Input: brief + data/posts.php cross-links. Output: lane assignment (website before 11 AM, WebApp till 4 PM, MCP after 4 PM). Tech: Notion + Google Calendar + artisan scheduler. Trade-off: single point of failure if router is skipped → fallback is the checklist file research-brief-day-life-enriched-2026-08-30.md.

  2. Website Lane — Laravel 11/13 monolith (no SPA), Tailwind, Blade, Vite. Streams Figma tokens to responsive markup with Core Web Vitals budgets (LCP <1.9s, CLS 0). Connection to Website Development & Laravel Architecture. Data flow: Figma API → Tailwind config → Blade components → Vite build → Hostinger deploy.

  3. WebApp Lane — Laravel 13 API + Next.js 15.5 frontend (Turbopack beta, 5x builds), pgvector for semantic search, UPI AutoPay 2.0 + Credit-on-UPI webhooks. Input: SaaS PRD. Hosted hybrid: Laravel on Hostinger/Vapor serverless, Next.js on Vercel edge.

  4. MCP Lane — Custom MCP server as thin wrapper over existing product API. Primitives: Tools (search/create), Resources (read record), Prompts (templates). Transport: Streamable HTTP (Atlassian SSE deprecation Jun 30 2026). SDK: @vercel/mcp-adapter + zod validation. Auth: OAuth 2.1 PKCE + narrowly scoped tokens + catalog signing. Observability: log everything. Mirrors the Digitizia May 14 2026 pattern (97M installs) and CoddyKit May 24 2026 Node.js+TS scaffold — verified via my MCP Agent Builder.

  5. AEO Layer — Shared across Website/WebApp lanes: Article + FAQPage + Breadcrumb + Speakable JSON-LD, SSR for crawlers (WeWeb Jun 17 2026 guidance), meta title ≤60, excerpt 140–160, H1 exactly 1, 3–5 internal links, code blocks rendered. Powers citations in Google AI Overviews + Perplexity + ChatGPT, per my SEO & AEO Services and Schema Markup Generator.

  6. Quality Gate — Local then live: audit-blog.mjs (exit 1 on FAIL) → subagent auditor → php -lphp artisan db:seedgit pushaudit-live-url.mjs (16 checks: HTTP 200, page >2KB, meta, canonical, OG/Twitter, viewport, H1, words ≥1200, FAQ 3–4, links, JSON-LD, leaks, code, alts). Nothing ships with FAIL.

My Typical Day — Hour by Hour from Junagadh

6:00 AM — Triage + MCP spec. Chai, Slack, GitHub notifications. I map today's MCP wrapper: what to expose first (search → read → create — Digitizia rule). Never whole API on day one.

7:00–10:00 AM — Deep MCP build. This is the maker block. No meetings. I register tools/resources with zod, add OAuth + HITL for destructive writes, and test via GITHUB_TOKEN with natural language: "find customers by name" → "create lead".

10:00 AM–1:00 PM — Website lane. Figma to Tailwind to Laravel. Headless when needed (API-first for content-heavy apps — Saawahi Aug 5 2026), monolith by default (98 Lighthouse without SPA — my laravel-13-lighthouse-98-without-spa-2026 playbook). Wire AEO at creation: JSON-LD, FAQPage from PAA, OG/Twitter, viewport — not as afterthought.

1:00–4:00 PM — WebApp lane. Laravel API (queues, Eloquent, Pulse, Volt) + Next.js SSR/ISR. pgvector semantic search day 3–4 of SaaS MVPs, UPI AutoPay webhooks day 5, per UPI AutoPay 2.0 & Credit-on-UPI 2026. Turbopack beta cuts builds 5x (Next.js 15.5). Hybrid deploy keeps cost FinOps-aware (DZone Jan 6 2026 Trend 6).

4:00–5:30 PM — QA + audit. audit-blog.mjs locally, fix leaks (unclosed **, stray ```), word count ≥1200, 3–5 internal links verified. This is where the SEO & AEO Auto-Ranker logic fires.

5:30–6:30 PM — Deploy ritual. Evening — Loom + connect. I record a 90-second Loom (Figma → demo → audit PASS screenshot) and connect the MCP in Claude Code + Cursor: claude mcp add <name> -- node /path/dist/index.js. Client tests with plain English — no API docs needed.

1) Custom MCP Server Wrapper (Next.js + Vercel MCP Adapter)

This is the pattern I use for SME CRM wrappers — same as Digitizia's CRM example, adapted for our Rajkot ceramics client. Expose 2 tools + 1 resource, OAuth-ready, log everything.

2) WebApp Lane — Laravel pgvector Semantic Search (Eloquent)

What this skill CAN'T do (honest): It won't replace design discovery (Figma still needs client input), it assumes you already have a product API for the MCP wrapper (if not, build API first), and it is optimized for solo/3-person teams — for 20-engineer squads, add an IDP golden path (DZone Trend) and split lanes across teams.

Can this skill be adapted for WordPress or Shopify instead of Laravel?

Yes, but with caveats. The Website lane's Tailwind → Laravel part is CMS-agnostic — swap Blade for headless WordPress (WPGraphQL) or Shopify Hydrogen (Next.js) and keep the AEO layer + deploy ritual. The WebApp lane's pgvector + MCP parts are Laravel-leaning; on WordPress you would move RAG to a FastAPI microservice and keep WordPress as frontend. You lose the 98 Lighthouse monolith edge and Vapor serverless pay-per-use, but keep the time-boxing.

How does this compare to n8n + separate MCP hosted runtimes (Arcade/Composio)?

Build your own MCP wrapper over your product data — half-day, data stays inside your perimeter, scoped JWT is trivial. Use hosted n8n/MCP runtimes when an agent must touch 20+ third-party tools per user with multi-tenant OAuth vaulting — that credential isolation (MCPBundles encrypts at rest, per-workspace scopes) is worth offloading. How do you stay fast building from Junagadh vs Bangalore/Bangalore?
